エッチングの技法を用いたペンダント。金属の腐食により生まれる味のある線は、小さな陰影を作り、モチーフに息を吹き込みます。持ち主に寄り添うお守りのようなモチーフが描かれたペンダントは、装飾品としてだけではない、時を重ねても色あせない魅力を宿します。

海と空のあいだに生まれた、小さな星―「いるか座（Delphinus）」。
古い神話では、海神ポセイドンの使者として花嫁を探したイルカが、
功を讃えられ天へ昇ったといわれます。
中世の星図では実在のイルカとは違い、竜のような顔と魚の尾をもつ不思議な生き物として幾つか描かれています。その創造的な姿からインスピレーションを得て、星の瞳を持つイルカを銀製の小さなコインペンダントに仕立てました。日々お守りのように身につけて頂けるネックレスです。

『SV925 Etched Pendant -Delphinus』
A small star born between the sea and the sky — Delphinus, the Dolphin.
According to ancient myth, the sea god Poseidon sent a dolphin to find his bride,
and in gratitude, placed it among the stars.
In medieval star charts, Delphinus was often drawn not as a real dolphin,
but as a fantastical creature with a dragon’s face and a fish’s tail.
Inspired by that imaginative form, I created a small silver coin pendant
depicting a dolphin with a star in its eye — a necklace to wear as a quiet daily talisman.
