エッチングの技法を用いたペンダント。金属の腐食により生まれる味のある線は、小さな陰影を作り、モチーフに息を吹き込みます。
それぞれのモチーフが主役となり、物語がはじまります。

ナチュラルなシャンパンカラーのダイヤモンドが取り巻く、スペシャルなコインネックレス。
細やかなカットのダイヤモンドが、光を受けてキラキラと美しく輝きます。
ギリシャ神話の天馬、ペガサスを描いたエッチング・ペンダント。
母はメデューサ、父は海の神ポセイドン。ポセイドンは馬の神とも呼ばれます。
古代ギリシャの都市国家コリントで発行されていた銀貨をイメージソースとしています。
コリントでは、ペガサスが貨幣の図柄として長く親しまれていたといわれます。
貨幣という実用的な存在に、空を駆ける馬ーーこの発想が素敵ですね。
裏面には、当時のコインによく見られた女神アテナ像ではなく、 月桂樹を馬蹄形に模したエッチングを施しました。 勝利と幸運を願う、そんな遊び心のある意味を込めました。

A pendant features Pegasus, the winged horse from Greek mythology.
His mother was Medusa and his father, Poseidon—
the sea god also known as the god of horses.
The design was inspired by ancient silver coins from the Greek city-state of Corinth,
where the motif of Pegasus appeared for centuries, starting around the 6th century BCE.
Choosing a flying horse for their currency—what refined taste.
On the reverse side, instead of Athena often seen on Corinthian coins, we created a horseshoe-shaped laurel wreath.
A touch of playfulness, wishing for both victory and good fortune.
